I have been looking for an aggressive carbon dioxide laser treatment

Question:

I have been looking for an aggressive carbon dioxide laser treatment and I think that Fraxel repair is what I want. Is this done under local anesthesia? Is it an office procedure? How long does treatment of the whole face take?

Answer:

Yes, Fraxel Repair Laser Resurfacing is the latest technology in laser resurfacing. It is a carbon dioxide laser that treats many, many tiny areas with microscopic bits of laser energy. Because it treats only tiny areas of skin and leaves  other tiny areas untouched, the skin heals much faster then traditional laser resurfacing which takes an entire layer of the skin off. It is an office procedure and it is done under local anesthesia. It takes about 1/2 hour to do the entire face.
