Question:

I have read that patients have to wear a chin-strip after having a neck lift. Does this have to been worn 24/7? For how long must it be worn?

Answer:

I have patients wear a dressing for 2-3 days after a necklift and then typically a chin strap or just an ace bandage for the rest of the week. In some cases, I will have patients wear the ace wrap at night for the second week.
