What type of laser treatment would be best for fighting the typical signs of aging? I am a woman in my early 40s and have never had any cosmetic treatments before.
I have the Fraxel Repair laser which is the latest, most high tech laser with the least downtime and best results. The Fraxel Repair laser is a huge advance over the old fashioned CO2 lasers. It is much safer with a much quicker recovery and still with excellent results.
I am considering laser skin resurfacing to help clear up my acne scars. I am a 24 year old Caucasian male with very fair skin. What type of laser would be best for me?
I have found Fraxel Repair to be the best treatment for acne scars. The fact that you have light skin is great. The lighter the skin tone, the lower the risk of any post laser pigmentation issues. Good luck.
I am a 44 year old female who would like to know if laser skin resurfacing is the least intrusive type of surgery capable of removing wrinkles.
Yes, I do believe that Laser Skin Resurfacing with the Fraxel Repair Laser is the least intrusive way to revome wrinkles. The Fraxel Repair Laser has a much quicker recovery with many fewer possible complications then the older lasers. The recovery is a bit easier then with surgery.
I am only 42 years old but sometimes I look at least fifty. I know it is a combination of love for the beach and sun as well as smoking. I want a very deep facial treatment. Does the Fraxel laser remove most facial wrinkles, including those around my lips? What about the deeper creases? Will the outer layers of my skin peel?
The Fraxel Repair Laser removes finer wrikles and improves the deeper ones. It is very effective for wrinkles around the mouth, but to prevent their return, you need to stay out of the sun or at least use a good sun block and STOP smoking. Small doses of Botox or Dysport also help to treat the wrinkles around the mouth and to make the results last longer. The laser doesn’t make your skin peal. It actually removes many, many tiny little areas of your skin during the treatment which tightens the skin and builds the collagen which decreases with aging.
I have extensive wrinkling on my cheeks. I would like a laser skin resurfacing treatment to make my face look younger. How effective is the laser treatment in removing the deeper wrinkles? Is this a painful procedure?
Yes, I use Fraxel Repair Laser Resurfacing to treat cheek and other facial wrinkles. The treatment is very effective. The most effective results are achieved with the combination of a mini-or standard facelift with post surgery Fraxel treatment. There is some discomfort during the procedure, but not afterwards. I use strong numbing cream and numbing injections before to make it more comfortable. Fraxel Repair is the most up to date, most effective laser with a much shorter downtime then the old fashioned lasers.
