Helping patients put their best face forward with caring, personalized service is the goal of board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Jonathan Pontell and his staff at the Aesthetic Facial Plastic Surgery Center in Media, Pennsylvania. Dr. Pontell specializes in facial surgery, which allows him to devote his time to staying current on all the latest facial surgery techniques and procedures for "improving on Mother Nature." Every procedure, from the least invasive to the more complex, and every Philadelphia facial plastic surgery patient, get the scrupulous attention to detail and thoughtful planning necessary when dealing with the face. There are no "simple" surgeries when a patient's face is at stake, and Dr. Pontell recognizes those feelings and does his best to put patients at ease with whatever procedures they choose.
Dr. Pontell helps patients pick the right surgical procedure for their facial surgery by personally assessing their facial structure and discussing the results patients hope to achieve with them. Procedures such as a facelift or the less invasive mini-facelift can take years off a person's face. That tired and baggy-eyed look doesn't have to be a part of aging; lifting the eyelids through blepharoplasty can alleviate sagging and bagginess around the eyes. Dr. Pontell can improve the chin line through augmentation or chisel the nose into the shape best suited to each patient. Large or abnormally shaped ears, which may have caused embarrassment for years, can be surgically repaired. A brow lift can take away the angry or worried furrowed-brow look that has a negative effect on the appearance.
Patients don't have to go to the operating room to dramatically improve their appearance. Dr. Pontell offers a number of in-office solutions that can make big changes with minimal down-time or time spent in recovery. Injections with BOTOX® Cosmetic, Restylane® and Juvederm can remove the tired fine wrinkles around the eyes, forehead and mouth. Laser and chemical peel procedures can also take off years along with lines. Lip augmentation returns a more youthful look to the mouth.
Dr. Pontell is proud to participate in the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery's Face to Face and Faces of Honor Programs, donating his time to help victims of domestic abuse as well as returning soldiers in need of more comprehensive facial reconstruction.
Although plastic surgery is often not covered by insurance, our trained office staff will do everything to help patients arrange for financing and with filing any insurance reimbursements.
