CHANGES IN THE NOSE AS WE AGE
Question:
I never had a problem with my nose but now, as I’m about to turn 60, I’ve been noticing that it’s changed in shape over the years. The tip seem to have become more round and my nostrils more noticeable. Is this something that can be fixed with a nose job? Is it normal for changes like this to occur with age?
Answer:
Yes, changes in the nose do occur with aging. Over time, gravity acts on the nose the same as with other parts of our bodies and noses typically become longer and droop. These changes can cause nasal obstruction and can make noses less aesthetically pleasing. The good news is that a rhinoplasty can fix these issues and return your nose to it’s original appearance.
