A hyaluronic acid-based filler, Restylane Lyft is easily integrated into the facial tissues. The denser formula, when injected, brings instant volume to the areas being treated. You may have the desire to create more definition at the cheekbones for a structured, elegant look. When injected to add cheek volume, this product has the added benefit of subtly lifting the skin and tissues of the mid-face region – a treatment that can allow you to look years younger, in just minutes, no surgery required.

Your skin is supported by natural collagen fibers, which keep the skin firm, lifted, elastic and hydrated. As the years go by, the skin no longer produces the same amount of collagen, slowly diminishing in volume, causing the skin to weaken, sag, and develop wrinkles.

The scientists who developed this advanced injectable have added lidocaine. This reduces the discomfort that could be experienced when undergoing injections. Before your injections, to ensure greater comfort, a numbing cream will be applied. You may feel some pressure, but the treatment should be painless. The results will appear immediately as the gel is injected into the deeper area of your skin, lifting the surface, with a refreshed look you will enjoy immediately.

Preparing for your treatment

For the best outcome, and to ward off bruising, we advise you to avoid taking any blood-thinning medications or supplements (check with your doctor if you take a specific medication). Avoid over the counter medications such as aspirin or ibuprofen, or supplements such as vitamin E, fish oil, or others that have blood thinning properties. Does treatment with Restylane Lyft have a recovery time?

After your Restylane Lyft injections, you will need to avoid applying makeup for one day. If you experience any swelling, you can apply an ice pack. To ensure the filler settles as intended, avoid putting any pressure on the area for two weeks.

You should not take a sauna, enjoy a hot tub, or expose your skin to direct sun after your treatment. When you venture out, wear a moisturizer with sunblock. Most people recover almost immediately and are ready to reveal your fresh new look by the next day!
