Preparing for your treatment

For the best outcome, and to ward off bruising, we advise you to avoid taking any blood-thinning medications or supplements (check with your doctor if you take a specific medication). Avoid over the counter medications such as aspirin or ibuprofen, or supplements such as vitamin E, fish oil, or others that have blood thinning properties. Does treatment with Restylane Lyft have a recovery time?

After your Restylane Lyft injections, you will need to avoid applying makeup for one day. If you experience any swelling, you can apply an ice pack. To ensure the filler settles as intended, avoid putting any pressure on the area for two weeks.

You should not take a sauna, enjoy a hot tub, or expose your skin to direct sun after your treatment. When you venture out, wear a moisturizer with sunblock. Most people recover almost immediately and are ready to reveal your fresh new look by the next day!
