BOTOX® Cosmetic vs. XEOMIN®
BOTOX® and XEOMIN® are similar injectable treatments that both achieve smoother skin. The main difference is that XEOMIN® is the purest form of botulinum toxin, the same substance as BOTOX®.
Because it is so pure, XEOMIN® provides the lowest possible chance of causing an allergic reaction. It also has a lower probability of patients developing resistance to the product over time, which makes it a practical choice when patients have started to build resistance to BOTOX®.
